Coffeedex

Coffeedex is a personal drink journal for coffee, matcha, boba, and tea. Your data is yours. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is stored.

Data we collect

When you create an account via Sign in with Apple, we store your name, email address, and a unique user ID. All drink entries you create are stored on our servers, including:

  • Drink names, scores, notes, flavor tags, prices, and temperature
  • Photos you take and AI-extracted sticker images
  • Cafe names, addresses, and GPS coordinates
  • Bean or tea origin country and region

This data exists solely to power the app for you. It is not used for any other purpose.

Data we do not collect

  • No analytics or crash reporting SDKs
  • No advertising or tracking
  • No IDFA or device identifiers
  • No data is sold to third parties

Third-party services

  • Supabase — database and file storage for your entries and photos
  • Sign in with Apple — authentication only; Apple does not receive your drink data
  • Apple MapKit — used for cafe search; no data is stored by Apple through the app

Location

Coffeedex requests location access only when you grant permission, and only to find nearby cafes. Your location is never tracked in the background.

Photos

Photos you take within the app are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Supabase Storage) and used to generate drink stickers via on-device Vision ML. Photos are not shared with any third party.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile, then tap Delete Account at the bottom of the screen. You will be asked to type "I CONFIRM" to proceed. This permanently removes all your entries, photos, stickers, and profile data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
